3. Reflect: grab your journal or your sketchbook and spend 15-30 minutes reflecting on today's liturgy. Your reflection can be free form, or you can respond to one or more of these questions:

1) The people at the temple were following the direction of the law, but they had lost sight of the God they were sacrificing to. Where are areas in your live where your religious practices needs to be redirected toward God?
2) How are you being called to sacrifice for your loyalty to God?

4. Do:
1) first coloring page.
2) Draw a cross. Just a simple cross with two lines. Now mark the compass points, N at the to, S at the bottom, W on the left, E on the right. Above N, write, “I give up my need for. . . Moving clockwise, use the E and write Esteem. Now use the S to write Safety and Security. Write the word PoWer using the W .
Now, draw over your compass lines to make a substantial cross in the center. This is the cross that anchors our lives, that allows us to put our faith in Christ and give our needs to God. When you are finished, fill in the spaces with words or pictures that remind you of all God has done to meet your needs and desires.
